Welcome to the Cultural Resource Management Toolbox

The following competencies are from the Conservation & Land Management Training package (RTD02) and can contribute towards Certificate III and IV in Conservation and Land Management (RTD30102and RTD40102):

RTD3802A    Provide appropriate information on cultural knowledge
RTD3817A    Propose appropriate uses of traditional
customs
RTD4508A    Protect places of cultural significance
RTD4509A    Report on places of cultural significance

To get the best from this Cultural Resource Management Toolbox you have to be a very good detective. You have to be a top tracker. You need to track through time.

You have to look carefully and check out everything that might give you a clue about who lived at these places, what they did and what important things they left behind. Most people can't see what's been left behind. But when you learn to see you'll be able to know why a place was so important, how you can communicate its importance and how you can protect it.

There are 9 sites on this Toolbox (5 in the Learningscape and 4 Other sites) so open those eyes wide and start searching.
